CLINICAL EDUCATION

We are the go-to educational organization for pelvic health rehabilitation in Sub-Saharan Africa. Training programs are available for clinics, hospitals, and individual health professionals. We offer an evidence-based curriculum, take-home resources, and continuing education credits. A train-the-trainer module is also available.

Training Packages for Clinics and Hospitals

Training packages allow clinics, hospitals and NGOs to offer continuing education opportunities in pelvic health care to their clinical staff.

What we offer:

Tailored curriculum, interactive training (lectures, discussions, case studies, quizzes), and patient resources

Ongoing monthly online mentorship for three months 

Certification from Libra Pelvic Health

Different levels of training, more specific training courses, and ongoing mentorship are available.

Professional Development Courses for Clinicians

In-person, live-online, or hybrid courses are available for individual clinicians such as physiotherapists, nurses, midwives and community health workers.

Ongoing monthly online mentorship for three months

Different levels of training, more specific training courses, and ongoing mentorship are available.

NGO & Donor-Funded Projects

Libra Pelvic Health partners with NGOs/ agencies to deliver education in underserved areas such as refugee camps, low-income areas or informal settlements. This provides capacity-building opportunities for the organization with their work towards WHO’s SDG 3.1 (reducing maternal mortality), 3.7 (sexual and reproductive health), and 5 (gender equality). Program evaluation and community impact reporting are developed with individual organizations.

Libra’s software provides real-time clinical reasoning and decision-making support for practitioners who have not received formal training in pelvic health rehabilitation, enabling task-shifting.
